Little blood from lungs this morning

Dang, I can't decide whether to worry big or not. I woke up this morning having to cough and it was blood and sputum from my lungs, second cough just blood, but now it's half hour later, coughed and no blood just clear sputum. Anyone else have this? Anything to worry about? This happened a few days ago as well, but before I hit panic mode it stopped much like this morning.

    Call the doc!
    I haven't experienced it, but I definitely think you should call your doctor ASAP. This is the kind of thing they need to know about! No need to panic, but you do need to know why it's happening.

    Ummmmm
    Coughing up blood is a need for concern, especially if you are on Avastin. If it was a real hard cough, it could be from the throat not lungs. If it does continue on this weekend I would call the doc's office on Monday, if it continues a lot, I would definite call before then and the answering service will hook you up with the doc on call. Better safe than sorry.

    Call the doctor. I read your history and it sounds like you are on or have had Avastin which can cause bleeding. Even if you are bleeding just a little it won't hurt to inform the doc.

    It was from lungs I believe,
    It was from lungs I believe, I felt congested this morning as well as last time, after I coughed up the blood felt better in lungs.

    Thank all
    Tina was right, it was coming from the throat then went into lungs apparently while I slept, I would wake up with rattling lungs and cough up the blood and junk from them and be fine.
    I've been off the avastin for 4 weeks now (Onc took me off in the hopes I can get the surgeries)and it should get better.
