And the same to you, 31. Weather's great, so I went for a 120+-mile drive today out to the U of Iowa hospital in Iowa City. Wasn't treated there, but my med team has ties to the place. Stopped at the desk where the Otolaryngology patients stay and spoke briefly with a Nurse. Showing her my Port's lump kinda validates my H&N C claim, you know. Made for an okay-kinda day. (And Greg- the Cubs finally won! Oh yeah!).

Happy Fourth to all. I haven't been to the hospital as of late. I am lucky that the chemo suite is across the hall from my med/onc. Ken, how far a drive is Iowa City from you. Chicago is about 60 from me. Holidays come and go for shift workers my schedule is known a year in advance. But for those that dont again Happy Fourth
Dave
P.S. Kent you aren't really a cubs fan are you? LOL0 -

is around 60 miles, one way. Rt. 80 all the way to the north side of it. Rt. 6 goes thru the south side, which is the way I took out there: drove thru a number of small towns amongst the fields and patches of trees on a bright sunshiny day in the heart of America, listening on WGN to an historic event- the Cubs won today! Uh-huh.
