MRD unconclusive results.
My son had a t(12;21)TEL-AML1, ALL, his first MRD on day 33, MRD by Igh VH3-D5J4, <1x10(-3), but there is no result, DNA undetectable.
The oncologist ordered a repeat, but the result was the same.
Then 2 months later, did another MRD, with same result, DNA undetectable.
Following BMA results, there was no t(12;21) detected.
Can anybody help me what is wrong here? I just could not understand why this could happen??
The onco said it might be a good sign.
