Hello Again Everyone,
I have finished my 4th round of chemotherapy and I have 8 more to go. I felt pretty good for the first three. After this past treatment I had aching calve muscles, back pain and joint pain. I also experienced some dizziness. That was yesterday. I went home and went to bed and I am feeling better today. Do these symptoms appear because more of the chemo is in my system? Thanks in advance and have a great day.

Peace and Blessings,
Karen

    Hi
Yes, but you should tell your ONC about this pain. Hang in there!

While we all react differently, chemo usually has a cumulative
effect in that as you do more of it, it can hit you harder and harder.By my third dose it started hitting me, especially the aversion to all things cold (if you're doing anything conrtaining oxi); all the other effects kicked in or intensified (fatigue, lack of appetite, mood swings, etc). Let your onc know as soon as you start feeling effects so remedies can be given to minimize negative effects.....steve
