Does anyone know about TM4?

My husband is stage IV and has blown through pretty much all of the standard chemo treatments except for Vectibix, which he is now taking without additional chemo agents.
After his most recent recurrence he decided he wanted to find other alternatives and is now seeing some integrative practitioners who have been highly recommended to us via the local alternative medicine community.
In addition to the many supplements he's taking (which he's been doing for a long time now), he's just recently added something to his treatment menu called "TM4". It's a "tetraspanin". He purchased it through Prescription Place, which is evidently an online pharmacy and was recommended by one of his new doctors.
My primary question about TM4 is whether it is known to have any impact on mood? If anyone has taken it I would really like to hear what your experiences were.
Thanks.
