Where do you draw your strength from?
over 15 years. After getting my green card I had finally
booked my flight - when BC stopped me in my tracks.
So, as soon as this is over there's a ticket to germany
with my name on it!

Many sources
My faith/religion (I'm LDS) and my family - Hubby and Son. I can't say that one is more important that the other - they are my life. I also gain so much from my horses and my yard/garden. Throughout my life, my horses have always gotten me through/over the roughest of times.
Living in the Black Hills area of Dakota, there is so much spirituality/culture here that I also gain from.0 -

Draw strength from deep within.
I draw my strength from God. Things and people may fail you but God never fails us and His promises are true to us. He promised to never leave or forsake us and to be a refuge for us in the times of trouble. God also works through others and allows his joy and strength to flow through each of us to others in need. I am thankful for the strength and support of those on this network and of course my husband and son. Thank you all for continuing to be a vessel that God can use to allow his love and comfort and support to rain on others on this network and all around your. God bless.

God, my husband, my church
God, my husband, my church family, and lots and lots of humor. I find a lot of stuff funny. I'm like a kid about cracking up at everything, and if you're laughing it's pretty hard to get down about stuff.0 -

The Holy Spirit within, father God who is my biggest supporter, my 8 year old son, and my sense of humor. I also laugh about everything.0 -

Ich spreche immer noch sehr gut deutsch aber ich habe leider
keine gelgenheit ofters deutsch zu sprechen da ich hier in
arizona noch keine deutsche getroffen habe.
I too hope that I can soon return home and meet all the new
additions to my family..

Seeing your family after 15
Seeing your family after 15 years will be wonderful. How soon before your treatment is completed?
Strengh, first and foremost I get that from my faith in God and His Word. I also get much strength from the 12 Steps of Al-anon. I am so blessed to have both.
I'm also blessed to have found this website which has certainly helped me walk this long walk. My husband, my sons , and 2 of my sister in laws have been a good support, and particularly my hubby who has been with me thru every surgery, chemo, doctor apptmt., and radiation. He has been wonderful and I'm truly grateful.0 -

Faith, Family & Friends
I am blessed to have a wonderful, supportive family and the BEST of friends! I've relied on my faith through all of this (which is also tied in with family/friends). One thing I found hard to do was to "let go & let God" take control of things - even though I knew that was what I needed to do - but I felt like I couldn't even catch my breath with all that was going on! I don't think I was ever able to put it all in God's hands and not worry constantly about everything. But, when I started getting back to work - and "life" - I would see people who told me they had been praying for me . . . and I thought . . . "when I couldn't figure out how to hand this over to God, I had people doing it for me!!"0 -

My treatment hopefully will be done by the end of this year.
It's been so long, that sometimes I wonder if I just imagined them
or if they are for real.
And you are right, this site did give me a lot of strength too.
