My Mother works at a local hospital and is friends with the tumor registrar who recommended a TCM doctor. I called the doc today, and she seems very anxious to meet with me. She's a physician in China who holds a Ph.D here, so i'm figuring she's very well versed in the methods. I'm looking forward to meeting her tomorrow to see what she has to offer, since i've completely decided to NOT do any more chemo. I'm hoping this will give me some ammunition against my oncologist who i'm expecting will threaten me with death if i don't do chemo.
Wish me luck, and i will post again after my meeting with her.
Hugs!

I wish you much success with TCM. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated by all. There are not enough of "us" who go that route so more success stories would be great.

On a side note, my Mom had trouble with back pain stemming from a fall she took (she's 90). She's been seeing an acupuncturist and have success with the treatments. -

Hey Krista,
I'm glad you have been able to find a TCM Doctor. I hope it works for you as well. I to have pretty much decided to try TCM if I have a recurrence. Keep us posted on how this works out and your general impressions of TCM, as they say knowledge is power.

It should be noted...
Regardless if the choice is Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine,
or any Holistic medicine........ There are physicians and treatments that
may or may not work for you.
When that happens, you should resort to looking for a different physician
practicing that same medical science, or look into a different medical science.
(My wife tried four different acupuncturists for her RA (one practiced TCM),
before finding one here in Florida that actually helped her. This acupuncturist
is also a doctor of TCM and who we both presently go to, and who had
put my wife's RA into total remission, and cured my A-Fib).
There are good and bad in all fields, and TCM or Holistic is no different.
Never gauge performance on another person's experience. What's worked
for me, may not work for you, and likewise, what has failed me, may cure you.
It takes perseverance and a strong will to succeed, but it also takes the
strength to know when to change paths.
A hospice does what Kevorkian does. It should be the very, very
last choice, because it is the very, very last choice one will make.
You CAN live in spite of cancer.
I'm hoping TCM will be Krista's answer.
