Riunite Lambrusco. It is a sweet red wine, but remember, no alcohol during chemo. Sangria is also awesome. Below is a homemade recipe:
3 cups Burgandy wine
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lime juice
1 cup orane juice
mix together the sugar, lime juice and orange juice in a picture, then add the wine. Mix and add orange, apple and lime slices. Best served over ice. Salud!
Did you know Lambrusco was orginally made using antifreeze? I almost gagged on that one. Olive Garden has a good Lambrusco.0 -
I found a great red mix made by Snoqualmie out of Washington (State) it is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.0

I like your recipe toolaurissa said:No wine for me
I want a pina colada. Wine does give me a headache. Though I like it.
I like your recipe too Meena! I will have to mix that up!
I like Merlot for red, and, a Zinfandel for white, if I drink wine. Hubby likes his beer, so, I drink that more often.
You should be able to find one you like. Lots of good tips here.

Well ladies, my hubby bought me several bottles. LOL And, between him and my friends, I am leaning towards the Merlot. Still not for sure if I like red better than white, but, I read where one glass a day of a red is good for your heart, and, I like that! LOL0 -

Sweet Wine
My husband and I are not dry wine drinkers. We like the sweet stuff that we call "grape juice with a kick". Our favorite wine is a muscadine wine made from muscadine grapes. There are dry wines made from muscadine, but most are really sweet. There are red, white & blush muscadine wines. You can buy muscadine wines from wineries on the southern east coast (North Carolina to Florida).0 -

You ladies are great! But, if I somehow become a drunk, it is your fault for recommending all of these great wines!
Thanks for all of this info! You are all just the best ever!
Cheers! LMAO
