THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
I'm over in Central Oregon with no computer. Popped in to the library today to catch up!!!
My scan was bascially CLEAR!!!!!! One little area that had a spot on my liver that was measuring 1.7 x 1.5, that has shrunk to .09 x .05. He ( my oncologoist) wasn't sure if it was something left behind from surgery, and if so, why was it shrinking. So he was going to call my surgeon ( would have been nice if he did that prior to my appt)....and let me know this week. Other than that, a couple of very small spots that were there previously as well that are unchanged. NOTHING in my lung, or abdominal area, so I am THRILLED!!!
I was worried that there might be a little left, or continuing, etc. No chemo this summer YEE HAW!!!! So I feel like I bascially have a clean slate for now. With Stage IV, that was music to my ears~~~ Feel life a tremendous weight has been lifted from my shoulders!!
Thanks again everyone for your concern, prayers, and positive thoughts. THEY WORK!!!!! -

The growth
Great news Sue.
The growth that showed up on scan that has shrunk to .09 x .05 could be from the chemo treatments you had previously. I had same thing in a lymph node measuring 1.2cm a month after chemo and then 4 months later, another cat scan was done and it was gone.
not all chemo meds leave residue but mine was from cisplatin -

I want to thank you again for telling me about this website.I like you as a blond. I had my right kidney and trimmings taken out in Feb. Waited for my three month clean bill of health and instead they found bladder cancer had grown into the bladder in that time. Now it is 6 treatments for 6 weeks and I have had 2 so far. I am hoping that they have a handle on your cancer. you look really good in your picture. thanks again for this website. fran -
