Liver angiosarcoma

I have just been diagnosed with angiosarcoma of the liver and begin chemotherapy with Taxol next week. I am very freaked out, depressed and scared. It is such a rare cancer. I am just about to turn 50 and have always been in excellent health until this hit me out of the blue. I have not read any hopeful statistics on this but hope there are success and survivors out there. Mine has not spread elsewhere.

If there is anyone else out there with some hope, please reach out. Thank you

    hey I don't have the same cancer as you do but also have a rare cancer, leiomyosarcoma. I know that the liver can regenerate itself so it seems like they could cut it out?? I was dx. 1 year ago so I know that it is so aweful to get a cancer dx. I have learned to take one day at a time, the same as anybody. You are not alone there are others who have your disease keep searching on line. Good luck to you. Becky.
