Ed saw a radiation oncologists yesterday regarding his brain tumor and they are suggesting stereoatic radiation in Boston Dana Farber Cancer Center to deal with it. It is all new to me and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this treatment before?

thanks

    William-nothing much has changed
nothing much as changed except ed's condition. I did read up on that webpage about this treatment but my question was simply did anyone on this website having this treatment and what their experience was. I am not at all quiet when we go to the doctor, I also bring along my sister who is an registered nurse for twenty five years, I believe at times, I may piss off these doctors because actually I think I ask too many question for their liking, but to be honest William, at this stage of the game, I really do not care if they are offended. Yes, I can see the bike and no, he has not touched the bike since it was delivered. His doctor has ordered him not to drive anything including a car or a bike. I did not agree with this purchase but believe me, I did everything in my power to prevent it but it still came to the house. Ed's cancer is still moving around even though his recent pet scan showed improvement, but never did a cat scan so now they did because I had to bring him up to the er last weekend and the doctor on call ordered a cat scan and that revealed the brain tumor. Things are very much the same around here, my mother was also in the same hospital as ed, she has later stage copd, so as you can undertand, I have had my plate full. I am extremely tired, my daughter is getting more and more depressed and we are just plucking away day to day. thanks so much for pulling this up for me, I do appreciate it. we are going into boston next week to talk to a radiation specialist about all our options.

    Hi Linda and Ed
    Thanks for

    Hi Linda and Ed
Thanks for the recent update. Sorry to hear about Ed's brain tumor. Best of luck in Boston. Sounds like this treatment should be very good, since it targets just the tumor alone. Stay positive the best you can. Stick together and continue to put up a strong fight. We will be thinking and praying for all of you.
