Possible cause of the "crazy head pain"
We went to a neurologist today and he thinks that the head pain is due to a jawbone infection! Tomorrow off to the dental clinic at the cancer treatment hospital to see what can be done. This just gets "worser and worser!" Anyone been through this??
Thanks for reading!! Lori

Hi Lori
Teeth, Jawbone any number of things can cause pain in the head, I am glad you are getting some help with it. My problem is damage nerves ending in the Jaw and neck that gives me so much pain in the head. Please keep posting and let us know as someone else out there may be going through the same thing you are.

Thank you!!! Any prayers are welcome!! Well, everyone, we went to his cancer treatment center today and they x-rayed his jaw. No infection or necrosis of the bone- Thank God!!!
They think it is his carodid? artery that has tightened up from radiation? I have never heard of such a thing...but I am not a Dr. Then guess where they sent us?? Pain Management AGAIN!! Now the $220 dollars in meds that they sent out the other day are of no use to him...we just get to pay for it URRGG!! He is just beside himself with pain and all we can hope is that something works. At this point, they are just guessing at things to come up with something to help. Thanks, all, for your prayers and concern- I will keep you posted. Hope all is well with you and your families!!!

Lori, I'm sorry to hear that about the meds. It can be very frustrating. They are expensive and then they aren't what was needed anyway, uggggggggg. Try to hang in there and be strong for him. It is a shame that he is in such pain and nobody can find out why. Have you tried to do any research online? I'm not sure how you would do that but Scambuster is excellent at research so you may want to ask him, you can send him a private message. He is a wonderful source of info and may even be able to give you a site to go to. I wish you the best and you will both be in my prayers. Please be sure to let us know how it goes.
God Bless you friend,
debbie0
