Chemo Grad - and THANK YOU!

Last Friday, June 11th, was my 6th (and final) round of CT. I received lots of love, support and congratulations from my friends and loved ones. At the same time, my mind has kept returning to all of the amazing people on this site. So, as excited as I am to be through one part of this journey and on to the next (rads), the most important thing seemed to be to take the time to say "thank you."

Thank you to our champions and leaders who have been with this group for a long time and have provided knowledge, support, compassion and shown me how to live even with this drastic change in my life. Thank you to those who are a ways ahead of me who have lighted the way and let me know that I can do it, too. Thank you to the newbies who give me the chance to start giving back some of what has been given to me. And, thank you to the ones I call "the guys" who help me remember that this disease impacts not only me but those that stand beside me.

Thank you to all of the brave and amazing survivors and supporters that I found on this site for helping me to get through one more step!

    this is HUGE newsI
    I can only imagine the relief you feel -- I had radiation and no chemo and I have such a healthy awe for those of you who walk down the chemo path. I'm always happy when one of you is done done done.

    Enjoy the relief and know how truly strong you are.
