I had my left lung removed in July 2007, it had not spread at that time. I made it almost 3 yrs & then a small tumor showed up on my brain. Had the gamma knife procedure done on June 1st. Will be starting 4 chemo treatments in about a month, just in case there is more microscopic cancer cells anywhere in my body. I will be getting a combination of taxotere & carboplatinum. I understand the side effects are different for each person. I am dreading the chemo, not knowing what to expect. Has anyone had these 2 drugs when they received chemo? Would be interested in what to expect.
