Just wondering how you are doing-saw a post you are going to see your oncologist.
Did you decide to move forward with chemo?

Do you know what your CA125 was post surgery?

Peace and healing.

    Had the CT
Hi, Had the CT scan,& don't see the oncologist again until the 21st. I don't know if a CA 125 was ever done. I heard from work yesterday. If I don't go back, my insurance coverage will end in August. So-I have to go back to work & be 100%-at least then I can still do some check-ups. Also, we may have to turn in the'05 truck as we can't afford the payments now that DH's checks were cut by 2/3. This is really a lot to happen all at once. I am healing well from the surgery-got to remember the positive's! This site has helped me a lot!

Best of luck and I am
Best of luck and I am sending peacefulness and warm thoughts to you.
I am uterine stage IIIC. All cancer was removed during surgery including lymph nodes.

I just completed my 3rd chemo yesterday.
So far it seems to be working. My CA125 test was 300 post surgery. After first chemo it dropped down to 20 and then after second chemo it dropped down to 8. I hope that it continues to drop. I hope you will consider the chemo/radiation-for your health!!!
It's scarey but there are lots that have gone thru' this and are in remission.

    Too much-too fast!
A CA125 has not been done on me yet. CT scans pictured clean lungs, but a few teensy "spots" in the liver. probably not cancer- might be little fatty spots, but so small, can't be determined. The oncologist got quite aggressive today & said I absolutely needed to start chemo-soon! But, that she couldn't force me. She can't pinpoint any cancer anywhere in my body, but she wants to start an aggressive treatment ASAP. Doesn't anybody understand when someone has a "physical" job? I am on my feet for 6 hours every day-NO sitting, carrying, going up & down stairs, ususally w/20-40 pounds, & constantly re-stocking a busy store. The young kid doing my job can't keep up w/it-he has a lot more respect for me now! I enjoy doing my job & being needed. I could not do it & take any treatments. I also desperately need my full pay. This whole thing is just a nightmare.

    Cacowgirl,
    I hope that you

    Cacowgirl,
I hope that you will reconsider what your oncologist is recommending so that the cancer will not grow back. Does your company offer disability etc? There are different options available to people for some of these issues-your health is more important.

Just as an example of how important the chemo is, I have had three now. I have an abcessed tooth and need a root canal so my oncologist and endondist are keeping me on antibiotics to delay for 3 weeks the root canal which is when I start radiation. They felt it was that important not to delay the chemo schedule and give anything a chance to grow.

    Peace and caring.
