My youngest daughter spontaneously booked a flight home for this morning!! There is no better medicine than laughing, talking, planning and just relaxing with her! I am so thankful that she is here, because BC gets put on the back burner, and life happens.
I appreciate our time together more than ever. Just wanted to share something good in my life. Cute...she is napping on the couch, nothing like the sleep you get at home I guess.

    Enjoy her visit I know what it means to you as I also have a daughter who does not live very close. She came to see me after my dx and actually went to an appt with my medical onc with me.

    How wonderful and what a great bond you must have that your daughter knew this would be so good for you without even asking! I am blessed to have my daughter, husband, and grandson in the same subdivision with us (and she is my nurse practitioner) so we have been able to share every step of this journey - for the good or the bad. And any time I need to put things in perspective, she runs my grandson by for a visit and I remember why every minute is precious.

    Enjoy every precious minute with your daughter and take pride in the great relationship you have together!!

    Anytime that the beast can be put on the back burner is a wonderful thing indeed... and what better way than by those children we love so much.... I love seeing my children sleeping... even now... 22, 21, 16...there is just something touching about it!
