Hopefully we all have positive (that is, no evidence of disease) results, making all the agony and suffering so far tolerated worthwhile. Just called for a car service; be back later......

    Got there early, home already......
    According to technician, I could've exercised yesterday because I was doing CT; for a PET-no exercise prior as it will affect outcome(forgot already what was explained to me in detail). Now to catch up on eating/exercising--results will be whatever regardless of what I do now so might as well try not to worry. Will call radiologist this evening tho probably won't get results til Friday.....Hope ALL of us have good results....steve

    Steve, txkayaker, and anyone else getting scans today or this week- best wishes- I'll be thinking of and awaiting to hear the results. PamPam just reported her good results- so I do hope it will be the same for the rest of you. If not, please still report back- we want to be here for you.

    I did my CEA's two weeks ago and have an appointment with my onc on June 17th...told myself ...I am not going ask until the 17th....but I just called my GP and the CEA was 2.9
    that's no change for me. Whewwwww now of course I am glad I called....don't know what I would have done if it had been way elevated.

    ok so here's the plan....jam the car with everything except the kitchen sink....go to oncology on the 17th in the morning....run out to car and start driving north to the cabin.

    It's a twelve hour hike so we'll probably stop half way.

    sorry Steve ....don`t mean to intrude.....yes Anne I hope to stay at the cabin for the whole summer. i seem to be on a fairly regular 3 month schedule so that should get me to Sept before CEA`s again.

    another note about scanxiety....when I decided to phone the gp for results this morning....I had trouble dialing the number....had to try several times. I was breathing heavily and my under arms looked like Niagara Falls had burst....hahah not nervous though....very very nervous....

    Thats OK, as long as you're not running for political office
    with the claim that you were born in a log cabin.......Then again, maybe you were.....Called radiologist to see if CT results in yet and was told tomorrow but my radiologist is taking Friday off; was told another radiologist will look at whatever they look at but only mine will tell me results--unless something negative shows, in which case a doctor will call. I don't intend on sitting around for phone call that hopefully won't come til Monday (My radiologist is head of that unit and I'd met the others while I was going for Tx).......So keep on typing Mags and lets hope we all have good results to report.....steve
