Periosteal Osteosarcoma in Mississippi

In April of 2005, I was diagnosed with a periosteal osteosarcoma of a rib. I had two ribs removed at M. D. Anderson in Houston, Texas, and it was determined that there was 6 mm invasion of the bone marrow.
Since that time, I had extensive chemo at M. D. Anderson. In 2006, it returned as a lesion on my scalp and in 2008, I had my middle lobe of the right lung removed and a section of of the lower lobe removed.
I have scans every three months and since May of 2008, NED!
