third Alimpta down, count coming down

Here is an update on how things are going with me. It's been awhile since writing but that's sort of good as nicer weather helps me get out and do some more in yard. I've had my third treatment on Alimpta. So far it's been bringing down the count, slowly. Started at 525, last one came in at 427. So far sides not too bad, still tired but think that's mostly from the gemzar/carbo that had been on, bringing down my hemo, which is slowly climbing. Had a b12 shot at beginning which made me feel great, for about 3 weeks, then slowly dropped off. Should get another one next week at week 9. Foods have been soso, especially first week. Not the sulphur taste like before, just some foods not good and hard to get down when not good. Also appetite not real good, a few times have a 'hunger'. Hard to keep eating when feel 'full' and not like eating and foods not tasting good. Weight has dropped some. Bulge is still there, think maybe a bit bigger. He said could radiate it if continues to grow or becomes painful. Not looking forward to that prospect. Other aches and pains, one in shoulder which he said does go along with problem with liver, where I have some spots in my liver. Strange how it's connected. At times get down with being tired so much and so slow and not able to help out or around with my chores, but need to remember it could be worse and hopefully, maybe some better, if it ever goes down some more and can get off this stuff for a bit more that 5 weeks like last time. Have been able to do some trimming outside and enjoying the spring that's finally starting to come. Sis and I went for 3 nights to Portland, went to zoo one day (very tiring but recooped pretty well), then mall next day. Do fine as long as have places to sit ever so often to rest. Guess I've rambled on long enough but thought I should write something every now and then and check in a little bit.
