Hello all you wonderful people
Thanks for helping at our time of need. As I've said before what comes around goes around. My mom entered eternal life Wed at 4:09pm with her family by her side. She fought hard but the treatment was too late. She is peaceful and was at the end. Again lets all keep fighting to end this monster. Special thanks to Carlene. Bless you all and we'll all be together in the end anyway.

Vicki, I am truly sorry.
I
Vicki, I am truly sorry.
I wish I had words that could comfort you. I don't. This is the darkest hour of your life and I know nothing will make it better.
My heart breaks every time another woman loses her life to this awful disease - a disease that is all the more cruel because, if caught early enough, it can be cured. As much as we need more effective treatment for OVCA, we need early detection tools. I hope you will continue to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness, in honor of your mom. And for heaven's sake, do not ignore ANY of the symptoms of OVCA yourself.
I will pray that God graces you and your family with His gifts of peace and love.

sorry for your loss
Hello. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to Stage IV uterine cancer last year. I am still grieving. I can't really offer you much comfort, other than to tell you that you are not alone. Allow yourself to grieve, and know that you can and will go on. You will find a strength inside of you that you didn't know you had. In the meantime just keep breathing and putting one foot in front of the other. You might want to visit the bereavement and emotional support discussion boards also. They were a big help to me.
Hugs,

Dear Vicki
I am so sorry that you have lost your mom. The fact she was so ill doesn't deter from the pain of the loss. I lost my mum 18 months ago and I find comfort in the fact that she had a good live with my dad and enjoyed 2 children and 4 grandchildren (who were her life) Take time to greive and hang onto your happy memories (thats what helps me).

feeling blessed
Vicki, I am thinking of you and praying for your own peace. Your mother went so quickly that I'm sure you're still in shock. But I hope you are feeling blessed by her short period of suffering and fast release to be with the Father. And you were able to give her exactly what she wanted and needed at the end, the shared dream of all caregiver-daughters.0 -

Vicki, I send my prayers to you for strength, and my tears added to yours. I lost my Mom 3 years ago to this beast. I am still missing her. But when you fight all that you can, I don't call it defeat. Your Mom just earned her promotion early. I'm sure the wings fit her perfectly. Hugs to you, Cindy0
