My friend was just medevaced back to the USA. She has spindle cancer. Big tumor removed from uterus, another tumor on her aorta (still there) and one on her spine. They have written her off. (hosptial which reviewed her case in the USA). Who is best at treating this type of cancer?

    Oh Maria I am so sorry to hear of this news of your friend. What a wonderful friend she has in you. Do not give up just yet. Where in the USA is your friend? There are a lot of great hospitals and cancer centers here. I am not familiar with this type of cancer, but I am sure there are others here that are. Keep doing your research, the more you know, the better. Keep us updated. A second opinion is defintely needed. Peace.

    She is in Las Vegas, NV. I thought perhaps Mayo Clinic in Rodchester might be a good place to start.
