Has anyone heard of taking Claritin for neuropathy?
Thanks so much ladies. It is so comforting to know I can come here and ask "the experts" that have lived through this.
God Bless!

better medications
Do you mean that's all she's taking for neuropathy? My mother takes Lyrica and Neurontin, and she finished chemo last summer. She's tried reducing both, and the pain and numbness in her fingertips comes back pretty bad. But as long as she takes both meds, her neuropathy symptoms are minor. If all your mother is getting is claritin, she needs better medications.

I had neuropathy and took claritin. It seemedmto help some. Two or three weeks after my chemo ended the neuropathy started to fade. Perhaps if the neuropathy has been an ongoing issue for weeks after stopping her chemo than perhaps it may be time to discuss stronger meeds. I hear good things about Lyrica. My father-in-law was on it for neuropathy of the triennial nerve I his face and it seemed to help. Hop relief is found!
