Would any of you be comfortable walking around with lumps in an arm without really knowing that they are not cancer??

MRI doesn't see them as cancer but then again don't breast cancer patients have lumps that are found on MRI's biopsied, mine seen on altra sound at the time. I am going to Oncologist today for follow up from MRI's and they have been very relunctant to biopsy from the start. I am not comfortable with this growing lump and then the one that hasn't grown that is in lymphnode or vascular. I have had cancer already in lymphnodes.

Very interested in peoples thoughts on this subject. Thank YOU
Tara

I would see a different onc.
I would get a second opinion and certainly demand a reason for not wanting to biopsy. I don't mean to be mean, but are you living in Canada? I have heard sometimes it can be very difficult to get certain treatments and the waiting can be a long time.

But if you are not happy with your current doc, get a new one and see wht they say. To answer your question, I would be frantic with the lumps you have described.

Good luck today and keep us posted.

    Hugs, Judy :-)

    answer...no, not me
and your doc shouldn't either. After my diagnosis, I went to my GP because of a lump on my leg. She said it was not cancer, but to keep my mind at peace, she would remove it and have it biopsied. It was clear, but that's not the point.
You might want to get someone else to look at it for you?

Wow for the first time since beginning this round of diagnostics I feel like the Cancer Clinic is really there for me something I did not feel when I started looking into the two new lumps. I am sure the MRI of brain helped since it shows that I am not crazy, there are things showing up, not cancer but just the same I am not some anxious cancer survivor something that they often think we are.
I am going to go to a surgeon at the cancer clinic and will now see about the biopsy. I am happy about that so just waiting to see how long till I can get in to see him. I am also going back to Pain Specialist since I am now suffering all kinds of new pains that are starting to get to me. One can cope with allot but at some point we have to ask for help so we can continue to cope.
Maybe now the lumps will be removed and the big one that is still growing can be dealt with. These are very good things and realize how fortunate I am.
    Thanks all for your support.

This has to be found out.
This has to be found out. Telling you not to worry about it is unacceptable. If it isn't cancer then what is it. It has to be something. Let us know what the doc says I'm curious, also inform us just in case someone else has to deal with the same issue.

    Take care
