Taxol/Carboplatin every three weeks vs Taxol every week and Carboplatin third week

Hi everyone.

I have seen some postings here that some have Taxol every week and some have the combo of Taxol and Carboplatin every three weeks like myself.

My surgeon/oncologist states they have seen very good results with the sandwiched therapy I am receiving. I was one post that another's doctor stated they have seen the best results with Taxol every week.

I would be interested in everyone's knowledge and experience on this?

Are those in NED (is that dormant or remission?) able to provide their feedback as well?

    Taxol weekly
    I am receiving the taxol every week, as I stated in previous postings...my radiation will occur after the chemo.

    I have an appt with my medical/chemo oncologist. I will ask her for the name of the studies that showed the improved effectiveness of the weekly taxol. I will also search for the info.
