meditation and other cds you recommend??

sisters,

i know some of you listen to meditation tapes, and other cds. can any one recommend ones that were/are particularly helpful to you in terms of cultivating calm, inspiration, hopefulness, etc.???

    Energy Medicine resource
    You might also check out the Energy Medicine info by Donna Eden. Her website is: http://www.innersource.net/em/index.php

    I attended a series of 8 Energy classes with some yoga components. Taught by an individual who has attended workshops by Donna Eden. I found it very fascinating and I did buy her book: Energy Medicine- 10th anniversary edition. I got her book at Borders, but you can also get it at Amazon.

    Also, if you google Donna Eden just cursor down and you will see a topic called Videos for Donna Eden….if you open those you will see her demonstrating the routines she recommends. The book is very good…very explicit so you can easily do various routines on your own. I found the Video on Google to be helpful to refresh my memory.

    Also check out Belleruth Naparstek
    I believe Mary Ann gave me this name. I have not bought any of her CD's yet but she has lots of options...she does lots of guided imagery, etc.

    You can also sign up to get her newsletter which is interesting.

    Donna Eden doesn't do the meditation/guided imagery as much as energy stuff....

    I find this whole area very fascinating and wish ALL oncologists were more tuned into the complementary medicine arena! A LONG ways to go but am encouraged to find some of the well known centers are plunging in to this!

    I absolutely love Louise Hay's books and CDs. She has lots on HayHouse.com and also on Amazon. Have heard her speak. She is fabulous. Mary Ann has some good ones, too.

    I love Bellaruth's CD for cancer patients. It is so beautiful and comforting. She has a beautiful voice that is so soothing. She is definitely my favorite.
