Finished treatment!
I had my last treatment today!! There were a couple of bad weeks but, I see light at end of tunnel.I wanted to thank everyone on this board. I'm so glad I found this place.
All of you have been so helpful. Reading all the posts and replys gave me more info than the doctors did. Just knowing others made it thru this gave me the strength to know I could too. I know its not over but the worst is. Now the waiting and healing begins!
Thank You
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Congradulations on completing your tx. Its just such a relief. When I finished my last tx, I received a ballon and certificate, and I still have the deflated balloon in my car. Let the healing begin. I wish you well. Lori0 -

Glad treatment is "behind you"! I pray that your healing will be swift and uneventful. Once you are on the other side of this and look back I hope you take a lot of pride in the resilience that you found within yourself to get through it all!
Warmly,

You will start to feel better and better... but will undoubtedly be anxious to know how you have done! Just take it as easy as life permits you. Rest, distract yourself as much as possible and enjoy the spring!

tHE DAY the Dr. told me that the rad. had gotten all of the tumor I dont think I beleieved her. I mean I know she didnt lie but, with cancer it took my head awhile to wrap itself around the word "remission". I later saw my onc. who did further testing to confirm it. But to you I say...Pray,give thanks, and rest. Your body has been through ALOT. iT TAKES TIME TO HEAL. eXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. As there are no "routine" recoveries.Again, congrats0
