Please see a dermatologist
I suggest you see a dermatologist right away. Not all skin cancers present the same on anyone. It is best to have what you are describing removed and biopsied to determine whether or not it is skin cancer. Trust me, it is better to be safe than sorry. Catching any skin cancer early is the best way to get the easiest treatments and prevent further spread. Please make an appointment right away with a dermatologist in your area!

Anything crusty is not normal
I have had several spots that were white and crusty which the dermatologist determined were PRE-cancerous. They were removed with the cryosurgery freezing method. I was told if the spot was not healed after the freezing blemish went away, to come back in immediately.
I now have my yearly skin check done and the doctor always asks about any other "crusty" spots.
Please do not delay. What can be taken care of as an in-office procedure can easily become more serious as time goes on.
None of my skin cancer sites looked like the pictures I found in my research or the pictures in the doctor's office so don't rely on those.0
