    Happy Mother's Day to all... and to all of us Grandmothers also! I have 8 grandchildren and am lucky enough to have 6 right in town and the other 2 only 3 hours away. I love my boys and the wonderful women they married!

    Plan to attend church in my daughter's town to hear her ring a special number in her bell choir. (At her invitation) And then a special Mother's Day brunch. Love having her closer--she's about 2,000 miles closer. And being thankful for still being alive to enjoy her--too many of our sisters haven't survived their journey.

    We are going to church too! All of the Mothers get a flower at church, which I think is so nice. Hoping to have a cookout here if the weather permits. Cross your fingers!

    Happy Mother's Day
    Susie, I am getting the best gift any Mother can ask for. I was newly diagnosed last week. My 2 grown kids are wonderful. On this Sat the 8th my son is running the 5K for a cure( Karmanous) in Atlanta, Ga with my name on his back. He planned this before I even knew I had cancer mths ago. For everyone with Breast ca. My daughter on Sat the 8th will be working with her daughter(Sarah who is 11) and my husband to fill a semi up with food for the local food bank. Raising 2 kids like I and my husband did and seeing them pass it on to their kids is the greatest Mother's Day gift I could ever ask for. I plan to relax with no "c" word allowed on Mother's day. My husband will make me waffles and we will watch sappy old movies of our kids. I will see my daughter and grandkids. But have to be content to just hear my son, my sweet daughter-in-law, and 2 grandbabies in Georgia's voices over the phone. They are coming home the 1 st week in June. So I'd say I did something right. I am not perfect!!!
