Radio Frequency Ablation

Well, we heard from Dr Middlebrook in San Antonio and he suggested that we contact MD Anderson to see if the oncologist would refer Jim to their Interventional Radiology Dept. for Radio Frequency Ablation. He felt it would be a good procedure for the lesions to his liver and is generally an outpatient procedure. I made the call, now we'll see what comes. Dr Middlebrook felt this was a reasonable approach to Jim's situation and he knows the Dr at MD Anderson who performs this most often. At least we are making progress! He will see us in San Antonio if we can't get into MD Anderson right away, but since they have our insurance info and all the scans etc. it should be lots easier to do it here...besides moving the RV!

Thanks for your recent good news. Hope all goes well for you at Md Anderson. But, if not you can go to San Antonio. Good plan! Keep up the good work, and stay in touch. Thinking of both of you.
