Well today was the day, 1st chemo treatment! First off my Onc. came in and said he had some good news. After going over all my labs he and the chief pathologist came to the decision that I am HER2 neg. and not pos. The result had been borderline. The borderline status is rare but happens. He said he was very confident with the outcome it has been triple checked. My chemo changed to Taxotere and cytoxan, instead of the TCH.
The treatment was uneventful all went well. It has been about 4 hrs since treatment ended and so far so good. Thank you all for the helpful kind words. I hope amd pray you are all doing well. God Bless

    I also had taxotere/cytoxen
I also had taxotere/cytoxen on Thursday and Neulasta injection today. Just starting to get achey bones about 8 hours later, so not too bad. Drink water like crazy! It's working great for me. Besides the achey bones, just pretty tired so very tolerable for me. One down...3 to go...just look, we are 25% done already!

    now that it has begun
...you can look forward to the end. Hope all is going well for you this weekend. I had chemo on Fridays, and my weekends were usually spent gearing up to go back to work on Monday. Take care of yourself and now you can really look forward to the finish line!

I had a rough time with taxotere. They gave me more steroids to take for about 4-5 days or so, and that helped tremendously.

    Good luck.
