    I think it's fine if done in moderation (opinions vary widely on this one). But it's best to check with your oncologist. I would think that most oncologists would discourage extreme or excessive diets of any kind. When I asked my oncologist about vitamin C's effect on chemotherapy, he said that as long as it was from food as opposed to something like a high dosage vitamin C pill, it should be fine. I guess they know that we can't eat THAT many oranges in a day. :> I was stage III.
