I finished 6 rounds of chemo (cytoxan/taxotere) on April 23. Yippee!!! As I look back I can't believe I made it through the ups and downs but then I think God was there with me the whole time. I took him with me to every chemo and each day he got me out of bed to continue on with my life. I swore I wouldn't let chemo control me but sometimes it did. I prayed each day for strength and for God to sustain me. He never let me down. I have a few days of Leukine shots and then I see the Onc in a month and finish reconstruction.
I pray for everyone on this site. Never give up and always look up :}

    Congrats, Kim... it's definitely not easy, but after going through it, I know the meaning of 'doable' as so many put it. It's funny how God can be there at the same time for so many of us, as he got me through it as well. Enjoy feeling better day by day. I know at one point I wondered if I'd ever feel better again, and I do and continue to daily.
