I'm so sorry about Patti. Please accept my condolences.
Thank you so much for the link. The pictures are just precious. I'm sure it meant so much to the kids. I'll be praying for them, especially. I know leaving them motherless was a huge concern to Patti.
God bless,

Dear Jeff
What a beautiful tribute to Patti. Thank you for sharing this with us during your time of grief. I still can't believe I won't be seeing posts from Patti. Yesterday afternoon I thought of you and Patti's family, what a difficult day it must have been.
My husband is also Stage IV. I often wonder how did it get to Stage IV before discovery, what did we miss, why wasn't he sick sooner and I just can't find an answer. One thing you can do for your beloved sister is to make sure you and family members are tested, and tested early, don't blow off any symptom no matter how minor. If your doctors tell you "you are too young, you don't need to be tested yet" blah, blah, blah as so many heard from their doctors push them and push them hard for testing.
Take care and although we have never met I miss your sister very much. - Tina0 -

A Beautiful Memorial
Well, I finally got home and went straight to the pc so I could watch this - they did a beautiful job in producing this video - what a wonderful tribute - and how cool to see pics of my KS growing up and pics of her wedding and her children.
The picture of Christmas hit me very hard - made me think of just a few months ago and that picture looked recent.
The pics of her and the family on the beach must have been recent too from their getaway last year.
Tears just streamed down my face watching this, but I needed to feel close to her and say my good-byes...Patti's passing has hit me hard - I just wish I could have heard her voice one time.
When I see Chuck and the kids, my heart just breaks...
Jeff - thank you so much for sharing this with us, especially during your time of grief. She was special and she made me feel special. I regret not being able to meet her, I so looked forward to that...but it was not meant to be.
I'll leave you now, but if you ever need to talk or email, my door will always be open for you.

Jeff
thank you for sharing the video. That's beautiful. My heart is heavy for her family. So unfair (there is no "fairness.") to lose this vibrant, beautiful woman. Holding you, Patty's children and husband, and the rest of your/her family in the Light; praying for peace and healing.

There are no words that can capture the sense of sadness for your loss. But there are many tears. May Patti's memory be eternal in the hearts of all that knew and loved her. May God grant your family healing and comfort.
