breast reduction question

This may be a stupid question ... and I do not want to appear that I am not sensitive to what many have had to go through...because i truly am but I am lucky with an early diagnosis of DCIS. Radiation to begin this week. I have large breasts that I had previously considered getting reduced because of back and neck problems....and now breast cancer. Is it logical to consider a breast reduction down the road if (when) I receive promising news after followups? I asked my Radiation Oncologist and he said that many do breast reductions to lower their chances of breast cancer and/or reoccurance. Any personal experiences or recommendations?
