Found out my cousins primary was not brain cancer but actually ALL(Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) she has the possibility to die which scares me more than being eaten by a "dump truck bug". Wondering what can I do shes in the hospital now. Her leukemia mets to the ovaries and brain. I pray day and night everything will be alright. Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to help?

    Keep praying!
I have ALL also. I was diagnosed last year and I went into remission after my first chemo treatment (one out of eight!) My friends and family were scared that I was going to die, but I've realized that ALL is very treatable now, and there is hope in getting cured. It's very good that you're praying. You're already helping her tremendously by doing that.

Don't let your fears get the best of you. Remember that worrying accomplishes nothing but prayer can move mountains. I was 17 when diagnosed with ALL and have had to endure years of off and on treatment. I know the fear you described because I was on death's doorstep more than once. Remember that age is an important factor with ALL, the younger you are the better your odds are for a full recovery. I know that I'm writing this 4 months late so I know a lot has changed since then, hopefully for the better. Keep praying for her!

    God bless, Katey
