My mom had her appointment yesterday and for the most part she got good news. The tumor is still there but it has shrunk considerably. There is no metastsis to other organs which is a huge blessing! The one doctor was unsure of whether there was still cancer in the trachea or not but it doesn't really matter.
The overall consensus of all her doctors is that chemotherapy and radiation will only hinder her if we try again so we are going to focus on quality of life instead. She is ok with this decision. "It is what it is" as she would say.
Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers!
