As a new member I hope it's alright to post a book suggestion here. If not please feel free to delete this. Understand I have no vested interest in this book. I was told about it by one of my contacts on the Flickr photo site where I spend a lot of time. Turns out he is the author and photographer. I was told about it during recovery and really wish I had it when I begun "my journey". The name of the book is "Everyday Cancer, nobody told me it would be like this" by Jim Paffrath. Jim writes about his battle with Multiple Myeloma (Bone Cancer). Not that that matters since those of use with cancer and their caregivers share the same feelings. The book has just been released and right now it can be ordered on Amazon for Kindle only, but Jim has been talking about self publishing a paper copy if there is enough interested. If sure if you contacted him he'd find a way to get you a copy. He was kind enough to send me a pdf. copy which had me laughing and crying at the same time! Take a look at his website and make your own decision. The book talks about it all but not in a heavy handed way.
