    Hi TawnyS
Finished 14 months of treatment, including a year of Herceptin, last October.
My onc has no problem with my port coming out, nor does my surgeon. So, it's scheduled to be removed on May 7. If I (unhappily) should ever need another, so be it. But for now, I have never liked the thing, and it's coming out.

I guess all things to do with ports is simply a personal choice.

    Hugs,
    CR
