Has anyone ever gone to Memorial Sloan Kettering for a consultation? I have an app't with them next Monday.

    I didn't go there, but...
    I have heard that Sloan Kettering is one of the nation's top cancer hospitals.

    Yes Sloan Kettering as well
    Yes Sloan Kettering as well as M.D Anderson in Houston are the nations best. That being said their protocols in many cases are no different than a majority of other cancer centers you will find throughout the county. We had a consultation with a top oncologist @ M.D Anderson for our sister and we found that the exact same protocal they wanted to go forward with was the same we would get in Austin.

    Find a doctor that you feel comfortable with more so than just going with the name of an institution.
