Saundra: Monday afternoon

Hi ladies. Saundra's husband Joe here: she is still recuperating at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, from surgery on April 5 for removal of a large tumor on/in the colon and around the blood supply to her left leg. Although she had a colostomy, the outlook is hopeful that the sole remaining portion of tumor can be destroyed with radiation. Maybe later the colostomy can be reversed, but that's not a 'biggie.'
She's still pretty weak, appetite is not much, but she's improving a little every day. I read your posts to her, and she loves everyone on this site.

we see your smile
We've all spent plenty of time in hospitals, so we know what your real world is like these days, but every time Joe posts an update your beautiful smile illuminates our screens. That's when we all smile back and blow you a kiss and make a wish that you awaken from a restful sleep and realize that you feel better.
No, the colostomy is not a biggie. We all have dents and scratches. -
