Saundra: Friday update

Hello, ladies. This is Saundra's husband Joe. Her fifth day in hospital at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Today she was able to get up and walk three times (with a walker). The doctors say she is progressing nicely. She has no appetite, just nibbles a little.

We have had instruction from the stoma nurse on changing colostomy bags, etc -- it's a piece of cake (figuratively speaking). The nurse says hers is the most perfect she's seen.

Your prayers and thoughts are much appreciated, and definitely are working!

    Thanks for the update. Tell Saundra we are thinking of her and praying for her. Glad she is up and moving around. tell her to keep nibbling a little more each day.
