I would like to know for my Husband who has this cancer he has been having chemotherapy since 8/08. Now no longer working so doctor gave 3 options take a cancer pill Sutent or a clinical trial, or last but not least, a chemo pill Nexavar. What lifespan could he have using this pill Sutent, he has decided to try this. Is this protocol when chemo no longer works use these pills? He has Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) cancer of endocrine system. sorry I forgot to mention this. Thank you.

I am starting sutent (cost 5000 for a twenty eight day suppy) in three weeks along with iodine treatment for poorly differentiated thyroid cancer. I will be on it for four months. Let's keep in touch. I'm hopeful. All best wishes,

MY THYROID TUMOR IS INOPERABLE--THOUGH VERY LARGE AND HURTS. MY ESOPHAGUS IS NOT CANCEROUS--BUT IT IS SHOT PRETTY MUCH FROM SO MANY DILATIONS.

MY DR. IS STARTING ME ON SUTENT IN TWO WEEKS--I HAVE TO GET MY BLOOD PRESSURE DOWN FIRST. I WILL BE TAKING IT WITH IODINE TREATMENT. MY DR. IS PRETTY CONSERVATIVE--SO I TRUST HIM. HE THINKS IT IS SAFER THAN RADIATION.

BEST OF LUCK. I WOULD LIKE TO STAY IN TOUCH IF YOU WOULD AS I KNOW NO ONE ELSE TAKING IT.
