Hands off, girls -- NED is all mine today!
And I'm beyond happy and grateful to report that I'm now officially dancing with NED!
Even sweeter, the radiologist who got to give me the good news was the same kind, fatherly man who did my stereotactic biopsy and spent hours with me on the morning of my surgery doing the wire localizations and dye injections for the sentinel node biopsies. I felt almost as happy for him as I did for me, that he was the one to give me the good news.
The only thing is...my radiologist didn't say "No Evidence of Disease" -- he used the words "No Evidence of Recurrent Tumor." So does that mean, while you guys waltz with the suave, handsome Ned, I'm doing the hokey-pokey with some short geeky guy named Nert?

Traci,
Only you would end up
Traci,
Only you would end up with NERT, but then again maybe you have two partners NED and NERT. They are the twins of good news you know and they do an awesome line dance. Just know that you are in the wonderful arms that we all want to have wrapped around us forever. So you dance those feet off and twirl, dip and spin all you want. And the hokey pokey is such a fun dance I say enjoy that too. And of course you must disco to Staying Alive.
I am so happy for you. It is such a great feeling to hear those words and how nice that it was the same radiologist that got to give you such good news.
I am beaming for you and standing off to the side so enjoying your dance with the twins.

Traci, that is wonderful
Traci, that is wonderful news!! Your sense of humor is once again shining through. It sounds to me like you get the double whammy.....a waltz with Ned followed up by the hokey-pokey with Nert. Enjoy your time, you certainly worked for it and congratulations, once again!!!!0 -

NED, NERT,NSF,
Hi Traci- so happy for you, as you may remember mine was named NSF, No Suspicious Findings.
You forgot to mention how it went, did you have to tranq. yourself? I remember us both being so apprehensive about that FIRST mammo coming up, hardly able to function thinking about it, of course that is all in the past, and mine really was a breeze, have been able to sleep nights since mammo without any "helper meds". BTW today I had my annual physical with my primary doc, and all labs etc were excellent (she said), so if possible I am flying even higher now.
Again CONGRATULATIONS TRACI

Traci,
You are quick!!!! NERT. I wish my mind worked as fast as yours. I must say that your photograph shows a twinkle in your eye and smile that makes me wonder what you are up to! I guess the word "Happy" made me look closely at your photograph.
It is wonderful news to hear!! ENJOY!!!!
