God's Morning to you! It is me Bonnie and I am on my first walk all by myself. Still on only ice chips, NG tube down my nose and tummy pretty quiet. But feeling better, now if my body would let go of the 23lbs it is retaining since surgery, who would think no food for over a week and everday your weight continues to climb, I have gained a total of 23.4lbs since surgery, :-( They say its all water retentiong.

I was so grateful that Michelle sent Devin home with grandpa and was with me for the harderst 24 hours I have had to do yet. What a comfort and help it was to have her here.

The nurses still say I am behind where I was last week but ahead of friday.. so that is good.

Thank you for all the prayers, I know it has helped Randy, the kids, my family and me through this leg of this journey. I have feeling I well be here for awhile yet.

    I am soooo happy to see that you are up & posting & even walking!!
    That is such GREAT news!!!

    I also gained about 30-35lbs of fluid after my big surgery. I could hardly lift my legs to get out of bed. And I know only too well how miserable those ng tubes are.

    Hang in there, and know that we are so very happy to hear from you, and we will keep up the prayers~

    Bonnie,

    So glad to "hear" from you! You have been in my prayers as everyone else. Good verse to hang on to!

    And walking, that will help with water retention, too.

    oh Bonnie Sweetheart
    I had no idea that you were having a difficult time, I've been out of the loop for so long, and I'm trying to catch up here with what's going on with you Gals. I am so sorry you have to go through this, but you hang in there and kick some butt! I will pray for you and meanwhile please continue to be strong and get yourself going.
    I know what it's like to have to force yourself out of bed, it's aweful. I've not experienced the tubes in nose and hope I don't, I don't think I would do too well with that. I will pray for you always. I love you so much, keep those postings coming our way.
