Something to think about for those doing chemo: I took some walks, completely covered in clothing except for my hands and, apparently, a bit of my neck. Now I have a devilishly itchy, poison ivy-like rash on my hands and back of neck, keeping me awake at night. I suppose this could have been dangerous if my face or more of my body had been exposed. Tomorrow, I'll see the onc nurse for routine blood work and have her take a look. In the meantime I'm trying cortisone cream, benedryl cream, taking a bit of benedryl orally.
