treatment options for mets to liver and lung

Treated for colon cancer 4yrs ago.Now diagnosed with mets to liver and lung.Oncologist says surgery not an option at this point just to do chemo.Confused and looking for options.

    My husband has same. Sees great Doc at Stanford that says maintenance chemo is his only option for now. watching for possible clinical trials coming up. On Xeloda and CPT-11.
