Well, the news isn't good. The diverticulitis has turned in to a bigger problem. There is cancer in the sigmoid colon and almost blocked off. The Dallas doctors are trying to schedule surgery ASAP but with Easter weekend, most likely not until next week. They will section out the colon, put ureter stints in to protect the kidneys, and debulk as much as they can. Will keep you posted and my husband will post while I am out of it.     Scheduled for 7:30 AM, Monday, April 5th. with three surgeons for the day after Easter. I consider that a real blessing. God is good. I am able to eat and am keeping things moving through. Wonderful church friends are bringing food so I don't have to cook. We did go out for Mexican food today though as I may not get to endulge for awhile. Say a prayer for Bonnie.
