how wonderful that is. I missed the post about the Road to Ruin but it sounds like one that I would have been sad about. But so stinking happy to read this latest post. Thank you for sharing your great news and most of all thanks to the Angel that is helping you. It feels so warm and fuzzy to actually help someone in need and not expect the first thing in exchange. I know you of all folks really deserve to receive this help. It is such a blessing to give... and it humbles us when we are on the receiving end. Keep on keeping on, Craig!

I believe there are angels everywhere, in all shapes and sizes, some you can see and some you cant.
Thank you to that special Angel that helped our brother Craig, I would say God Bless you, but I am sure God has already blessed you!

God Bless your Angel,so glad you are having some stress removed from your shoulders. I hate that we have to find out this way about how much we are loved and cared about.
When I was off for surgery a friend of mine that I had not seen or talked to in a few years found out and started bringing a supper a couple nights a week for me and my family. Although not monetary I cannot tell you what that meant to me. To know that someone would take their time from a busy life to do that.
Accept what people want/need to do for you. It sometimes helps them as much as you. Ann0 -

Remember, when I went through this during Christmas, with utilities being shut off left and right, not many gifts for my kids for Christmas, and then lots of beautiful people (including you and your wife) sent me things, and it was tearfully beautiful to me, I wouldn't have the heart to send it back, as some wrote, they would be offended if they couldn't help. I KNOW angels are here on this board, and elsewhere, they are here to help, and you know I'd give you the shirt off my back for anyone if I could (if they could take looking at my scarred belly and lovely bag).
Let people help you. I couldn't afford to donate, but I did anyway, a month later, to Hope for Haiti, which I will keep giving also to when I can once hubby goes back to work. I also love St. Judes, which I wil try and give to as well, it's not alot, but I think every little bit helps, and I know it made me feel better to give what I could to others. You have given too alot of people here, don't feel bad about being on the receiving end this time, we know how hard it is to accept help, but it also feels good giving it, doesn't it? you did for me, let it happen for you as well, and not feel bad about it

learn to accept the gifts people give with happiness! It is hard to take but you never want to hurt anyone feelings. The giver truly gets more in blessings from doing the good deed. It helps them to help others. We are so happy and excited that someone recognized your situation and was able and there to lend a hand. You can always in the future help someone else maybe in a smaller way but if we each help the other the world would be so much a better place. Hope the scans reveal great news and blessings continue to come your way because you are a blessing to each of us on the site.

great news
This is great news for a person as deserving as you. Who ever this "Angel" is she has once again renewed my faith in what this world is really all about. I, like you, had/have a hard time receiving help. My uncle told me early on in this, when he and my Aunt were trying to help out and I was refusing, "Don't take away our blessing". It made me realize that by not accepting their help I was denying them that nice feeling I always get by doing something for someone else. I hope you get past the guilt, I understand it but like so many have said already, that is what this world and living are truely all about.
