I didn't think I would ever be back to this site, but here I am. I was diagnosed with colon cancer 7 years ago. I had a colonoscopy today and "there was an ulcerated area at 15cm with polyploid features." A biopsy was taken, so I obviously don't know yet if it was cancerous. I am to consider subtotal/total colectomy. I have an appointment with a surgeon on Monday. I want to cry , but I'm afraid I won't stop . . .

    So Sorry!
Tough to hear after 7 years! I hope it turns out to be not malignant.
You may recognize a few here from your day. Not many though.
