After reading about someone else with jaundice last year, I was convinced my eyes were yellow and my skin had yellowed. I googled and saw even your gum can turn yellow. I was positive, me too. Nope. Just hysteria.
Are all of the whites of your eyes yellow or the corners.0 -

I had not noticed till the nurse started my IV and she said you are very jaundice and my husband said last night that my eyes were very yellow and I looked in the miror and they were all yellow.0 -
Sounds serious LouAnn - in
Sounds serious LouAnn - in reading these posts, jaundice certainly sounds possible. Know you are proactive, so please check it out - could be something with liver - I've personally never seen this, but it sounds spooky enough to check out.

I have small cysts in both kidneys and I am wondering if that is what is going on with my liver . the nurse just called and said they had just gotten the report doc is at another office today and will be back in this afternoon and look at it she said there wasen't anything that jumped out at her (maybe why she is a nurse) I explained my concern with the jaundice she said after he looked at the report she would call me tomorrow with his findings0 -

You will need to have stents placed to drain the kidneys, my sister had that done. She said, piece of cake compared to the other stuff she went through. The yellowing of the eyes sounds like jaundice to me. Keep is posted! I'm praying for you.0 -

When I had Hepatitis A! yellow eyes and skin, pain in my joints, It was the least worrysome one, and there was no medicines for it, I had to stay home and be quarantined, and my family had to wear masks and overcoats for their clothes, so I wouldn't give anything to them, and them to me. You know how I got it?? from drinking from someone else's glass, a friend, who didn't know she had it..so we both got to sit home for 3 weeks, and let it ride its course! Hope this is all it will turn out to be, and nothing tooooo serious!! my aunt told me later I could have gotten it from "making out" with someone...and well, yeah, could have been that, my boyfriend at the time got it as well, from me, but then again, maybe I got it from him!
Hugsss!!!!
~Donna
Hope you're feeling better!!!0
